For membership approval, two key steps are required. First, you will need to obtain a positive police clearance certificate. A positive police clearance certificate simply means the certificate does not show any pending criminal cases against you. Second, your application will be reviewed and approved by the executive committee. In essence, any applicant with a pending criminal case will be ineligible for membership.

Students between the ages of 14 and 21 qualify for student membership. After this age, they can apply for regular membership, which comes with a nominal fee. Student members may be eligible for a discounted rate on regular membership upon transitioning.
